InsightThe luxury villa market appears to be alive and well on the Riviera Maya.

GayNagleMyersAzul Hotels by Karisma unveiled its recently enhanced Azul Villa Carola, a six-bedroom, six-bath, 10,700-square-foot enclave that can accommodate up to 12 adults and eight kids.

Enhancements include sleek new furniture, new lighting, art installations and Egyptian cotton bed and bath linens. The property also offers ocean views, a private pool, an outdoor Jacuzzi for 10, a dedicated staff and the services of the villa’s butler.

Azul Villa Carola pool“Azul Villa Carola provides the best of both worlds,” said Mandy Chomat, vice president of sales for Karisma, the worldwide representative for Azul Hotels. “Guests can experience all the benefits of a full-service resort while staying in a secluded beachfront estate.

“They have access to the neighboring Azul Beach Hotel and its inclusive amenities, including gourmet meals, drinks, fitness center, private beach butler and kids’ club whenever they want, or they can choose to spend time alone at the villa.”

Specialized villa packages include a family and friends program that includes the services of a vacation planner, a private babysitter for up to eight hours a day and a private chef.

Also offered are a wedding and special events package and a royal package that features a candlelight lobster dinner for 12, a chill-out party with a DJ and a private yacht trip for 20 guests.
