The Sandos Caracol Eco Resort & Spa on the Riviera Maya added complimentary snorkel tours to its roster of activities.
The tours enable guests to explore cenotes, the underwater caves that are a feature of the Yucatan peninsula. Guests can sign up for one of two complimentary snorkel tours conducted daily by the Sandos staff.
They explore the resort's largest on-property cenote and discover three other caves below the surface that connect to other cenotes throughout the resort.
Each cenote is filled with crystal-clear, turquoise waters and is home to a few species of small fish. The property launched kayaking tours to the cenotes last summer.
