If Universal Orlando guests want to ride the new Hogwarts Express train at Wizarding World of Harry Potter this summer, they will have to part with more of their galleon and knut (that’s wizarding money for those not familiar with Harry Potter).
The attraction will offer “a real journey aboard the iconic locomotive,” transporting guests from the new Diagon Alley area in the Universal Studios Florida park to Hogsmeade in the Islands of Adventure park, Universal Orlando said.
In the Harry Potter books and films, the characters ride the Hogwarts Express between London (where Diagon Alley is located) and Hogsmeade.
Universal Orlando said riders on the park’s train will “look outside their cabin window and enjoying a scenic, breathtaking journey through the British countryside, as they encounter magical creatures, some of your favorite Harry Potter characters … and even Dementors.”
Guests will have two different experiences, depending on whether they’re traveling to Hogsmeade or London.
