2017 Developments
Fareportal's management team changed its process management styles to focus on fast execution to achieve its ambitious growth goals. After consultation with a group of eight Agile experts, Fareportal developed an operational model using lean principles to further enable Agile adoption. The Fareportal Model organizes teams to follow the work that needs to be done rather than a hierarchical structure. The previous system of team command and control was replaced with a model of self-organization. While traditional Agile organizations have only four essential roles per squad, Fareportal's squads have six or seven.
