Next Generation Travel Insiders; originally unveiled in 2012, the Travel Insiders are designated as having expertise in a particular niche, whether it's a destination, a market segment or a travel category.

Now offering Representative Network agencies the opportunity to participate in the Gold Card Personalized Travel Service program. This is the first time this type of servicing will be initiated through the Representative Network for this particular card member group. American Express Travel is supporting the program through direct marketing and a dedicated phone number on the back of the card.

Consumers with a Platinum Card from American Express will receive 5X Membership Rewards points on airfare booked directly with airlines or through American Express Travel across all channels. This exclusive benefit will enable Platinum Card Members to earn more points on air purchases, which can be redeemed for eligible travel purchases with American Express Travel.

Knowledge Management System, back-end technology systems in the works to link 22 global markets, sharing expertise and creating a more united network, regardless of what channel a customer books travel.
