2016 Developments

Avoya was awarded a patent for the technology that powers the Live Leads program, which matches and connects clients with travel professionals.

Launched Agency Marketing Platform, expanding suite of marketing resources.

Launched Joinavoya.com, which is designed to make personal connections with prospective independent agencies while bringing more awareness to travel as a viable business opportunity.

Continued the expansion of Beyond the Web creative platform to connect more travelers to independent agencies in the Avoya network. For example, Avoya launched a new multichannel brand campaign leveraging the company's advanced marketing capability through enhanced display, search and social media advertising.

Implemented a co-branded campaign with Celebrity Cruises. The initiative introduces consumers to a new way of booking Celebrity vacations with Avoya while expanding Avoya's digital reach and engagement.

Expanded roster of suppliers with addition of the Priceline Partner Network. The partnership enables independent agencies in the Avoya Network to access Priceline Partner Network's database and to offer clients air, car rental and hotel options as part of their services. The Avoya branded bookings are fully integrated and powered by Avoya's operating system, Agent Power.

In addition to the benefits to independent agencies organized as a corporation or LLC such as the protection of personal assets, years ago Avoya recognized that corporately owned independent agencies with their own E&O insurance were also more successful. Knowing this Avoya launched an optional program that educated and encouraged independent agencies in the Avoya Network to operate as an LLC or corporation with its own E&O insurance: the Enhanced Agency Model (EAM). Today almost all independent agencies in the Avoya Network have chosen to participate in the optional EAM program.

Working with online travel schools and universities, created a New-To-Travel program for those who want to own and operate their own independent travel agency in the Avoya Network. Now, without any previous travel-selling experience, entrepreneurs with a passion for travel and a desire to be their own boss can take advantage of this new path. The program has helped add record numbers of independent agencies to the network.

Continue to invest in enhancing customer experience platforms and marketing touch points all for the benefit of travelers, suppliers and independent agencies in the network. As an example, Avoya will continue to invest in the evolution of AvoyaTravel.com and improve its customer journey to provide travelers with more personalization and an enhanced user experience with the goal of making each new Live Lead a lifetime customer.
