Fairmont Kea Lani

Located on the white sands of Wailea’s Polo Beach, the Fairmont Kea Lani in early 2015 completed the renovation of all of its 413 one-bedroom suites and 37 villas. The new, 9,000-square-foot Willow Stream Spa features local ingredients and traditions, including experience showers inspired by types of Maui rain, a hot lava rock foot bed and a volcanic mud bar.

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is the only property run by the Canadian luxury hotelier on Hawaii’s Big Island. The resort, which is located on the Kona-Kahala coast, includes 243 rooms clustered in two-story bungalows as well as an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course.

Grand Wailea

Maui, Hawaii

Home to a sprawling collection of activity pools, loaded with several twisting water slides, winding lazy rivers, an overwater rope swing and a highly popular water volleyball venue, the 780-room Waldorf Astoria Resort property also sits right in front of one of Hawaii’s most gorgeous and user-friendly stretches of sand. The property is in the midst of a major room refresh that began last year.

One & Only Palmilla

San Jose del Cabo, Mexico

Located on the tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula in San Jose del Cabo, One&Only Palmilla is nestled within an oasis of private gardens adjacent to one of the only swimmable beaches in Los Cabos. The 173-room, all-balcony resort, which reopened in April after being shuttered due to damage from 2014’s Hurricane Odile, also features fine dining at Agua by Larbi and Market by Jean-Georges. The resort offers the One&Only Spa, the Jack Nicklaus-designed 27-hole Palmilla Golf Club, water-sports and surfing activities, kids programs, and yachting excursions aboard the resort’s brand-new Catari yacht.

This property on Florida’s Gulf coast comprises 450 guestrooms, including 35 suites and 70 Ritz-Carlton Club Level rooms and suites. It boasts over 42,000 square feet of meetings space and offers access to two 18-hole Greg Norman-designed golf courses at the nearby Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. The property completed a room renovation in 2013.

St. Regis Bora Bora

Bora Bora, French Polynesia

This luxury Starwood Hotels resort features the largest overwater and beach bungalow villas in the South Pacific, each with a terrace and gazebo, and some boasting Jacuzzis and/or private pools. The resort offers the Miri Miri Spa by Clarins on a private island, a signature restaurant by Jean-Georges Vongerichten and the Italian-influenced Far Niente. This spring, the resort will launch the St. Regis Bora Bora Furry Friends Program, a collection of luxury pet accessories available for purchase, with proceeds going to a local animal shelter.
