Fairmont Chateau Whistler

North America's largest slopeside hotel, which is located at the base of the Blackcomb side of British Columbia's Whistler Blackcomb, has 550 rooms and improved its pool area and other public facilities in late 2012. The hotel offers upscale, family and grab-and-go restaurant options as well as a small retail mall and a ski shop that includes equipment rentals. Additionally, the hotel's Whistler Experience Guide offers tailored summer and winter excursions.

Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole

The ski-in, ski-out property at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming features 158 guestrooms, including 18 suites and 34 resort residences and an art collection with over 2,000 works by regional and American artists.

Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa

The 190-room Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa in Beaver Creek, Colo., offers access to more than 1,805 acres of skiable terrain on Beaver Creek Mountain. Facilities include 20,000 square feet of meetings space and the Allegria Spa, with 23 rooms offering treatments such as Aqua Sanitas, a self-guided water ritual. Guests also enjoy preferred access to Beaver Creek Golf Course and Red Sky Ranch.

St. Regis Aspen Resort

The St. Regis Aspen Resort is situated between Aspen Mountain's two primary base ski lifts, and its 206 guestrooms and suites, ranging from 690 to 2,300 square feet, feature custom furnishings designed by Ralph Lauren. Amenities include the Shadow Mountain Lounge, Remede Spa, an outdoor heated pool and 25,000 square feet of meetings space.

St. Regis Deer Valley

The 181-room St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City, Utah, a AAA Five Diamond property, offers its guests a luxury ski-in, ski-out experience, but it also touts year-round charms; a partnership with Elevated Adventure Co. offers guests a variety of day-trip options, and the property is a favorite venue for weddings. The J&G Grill offers seafood, pizzas and more as developed by acclaimed French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Westin Snowmass Resort

Formerly the Silvertree Hotel & Conference Center, the Westin Snowmass Resort in Snowmass, Colo., underwent its renovation and rebranding in 2012. Amenities at the 254-room resort include five restaurants, the Westin Spa and over 25,000 square feet of meetings space. In addition, the property offers complimentary shuttle service to Aspen's airport and throughout Snowmass Village.
