The rewards program operates on a point-based system, which will automatically give agents stay certificates for complimentary nights when they qualify; branded AMRewards Visa pre-paid cards for credit of booking bonuses; client gift vouchers for perks; and more. It also includes on-demand webinars from AMResorts' sales team.
Apple Vacations' Royalties Program enables agents to accumulate points they can redeem for free travel and merchandise. Each booking results in points awarded based on the cost of vacation and type of booking. When agents book designated Bonus Royalties hotels, they automatically get 1,000 bonus points per bookings. Double points are given for group bookings of 10 rooms or more and for Hawaii small-group bookings of five or more rooms at select hotels.
Funjet Vacations offers competitive commissions, the Set Your Commission margining tool in VAX VacationAccess and more. The 500 Club Agency Reward Programs gives the highest performing agencies free travel opportunities, exclusive offers and rewards trip. The Fun for Life Bonus Cash Agent Rewards Program offers agents cash rewards at hotels, destinations, carriers and more; cash rewards are automatically loaded onto a personal, reloadable Visa debit card each month. Agents can also earn a 2% bonus commission on hotel reservations when booking upgraded room categories at select hotels in Mexico, the Caribbean and Hawaii.
Agents who become Norwegian Specialists automatically qualify for a free cruise for two. To become specialists, agents must earn 250,000 points at Norwegian's NCL U through regular coursework and electives as well as book and report three new cruises aboard the Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Breakaway and/or Pride of America, in any combination. Once agents reach specialist status, Norwegian sends a congratulatory email and a link to available sailings.
Agents who reach the highest level in the OneSource Academy online training program, Commodore, earn a free graduation cruise. The academy gives agents access to dozens of classes about both Princess and Cunard through the OneSource Travel Agent Center portal. There are four tiers; once the fourth is completed, agents are dubbed Commodores.
Certified Sandals Specialists a designation agents get after completing a four-hour workshop with detailed information on the company's resorts and amenities receive exclusive educational opportunities and marketing materials as well as the opportunity to collect free stays via the Sell & Go program. They also qualify for resort services discounts. Through the Preferred Sandals Agency Program, Sandals works with each agency's business model to help increase sales for both parties; qualifying agencies must have an active specialist and produce 25 traveled bookings to the resorts. The most exclusive of Sandals' specialist programs is the Chairman's Royal Club, a select group of top agents with additional perks.
Members of SPG Pro, Starwood's loyalty program for meetings and travel professionals, have the chance to earn SPG elite status, upgrades and Starpoints for bookings at Starwood's nearly 1,250 properties. Marriott completed its acquisition of Starwood this year, but no changes are currently planned with regard to SPG Pro.
