BostonCoach and Dav El parent Marcou Transportation Group
(MTG) has acquired GroundLink, provider of a booking tool for black car service,
and Limo Anywhere, provider of a software solution for more than 4,000
limousine and black car operators.
The tech acquisitions are an effort to better compete with Uber
and Lyft.
MTG said it would make a "major investment" in Limo Anywhere.
MTG didn’t disclose the purchase prices for either
GroundLink or Limo Anywhere.
MTG has a fleet of more than more than 25,000 vehicles in
500 markets.
