HOUSTON -- Continental and French rail operator SNCF will begin
code sharing Feb. 1, with tickets on sale as of Jan. 26.
Continental will place its code on the high-speed trains for
connecting itineraries between Paris (Charles de Gaulle) and 13
French cities.
The code share means customers will be able to make one
reservation for both air and rail services, with the rail portion
of the itinerary showing a Continental flight number.
Continental frequent flyer members will be able to earn miles
when using the airline code for the rail service.
SNCF already code shares with American, United and Delta.
