WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Rail Europe, together with Portland,
Ore.-based Avanti Destinations and Switzerland Destination
Management of Zurich formed EuroVacations.com, a Web company that will
offer a full range of European tour products for independent
travelers.
The new firm, based at Rail Europe's headquarters and headed by
Bernard Frelat, president of Rail Europe, will launch a Web site
with book capabilities for consumers and the trade in the second
quarter of 2000 with brochures to be released in February.
