Four travel agencies, including three regional travel management companies, have joined American Express Travel’s U.S. Representative Network.
The agencies are Corporate Travel Planners of San Antonio, Texas; Cruises-N-More of Orlando; El Sol Travel of Tempe, Ariz.; and Travel-On of Beltsville, Md.
Owner and CEO Christy Prescott started Corporate Travel Planners in 1991 as a one-location venture. With the purchase of Rennert World Travel in 2000, Corporate Travel Planners became the largest privately held travel management company in Texas. The agency has 75 employees.
Established in 1998, Cruises-N-More is staffed by 50 travel professionals. Since its creation, Cruises-N-More has been a host agency for the Elite Independent Professionals independent-contractor program.
El Sol Travel, established in 1986 by current owner Chuck MacGillivray, is Arizona's largest, independently owned travel management company. The company staffs 40 employees with an average of 18 years of travel industry experience.
Founded in 1974, Travel-On is the largest travel management company in Maryland. The company has 85 employees in nine states.
