Phyllis Reagan, a longtime government travel executive, will retire from SatoTravel on July 25.
Sato, a division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, is the largest manager of government and military travel accounts in the U.S.
Reagan, who began her 30-year travel career with Trans World Airlines, went on to join the sales management team at Denver-based Professional Travel, one of the travel agencies that formed Navigant International. (Navigant acquired Sato in 2001, and Carlson bought Navigant in 2006).
Reagan served as the president of the Society of Government Travel Professionals (SGTP) for more than seven years.
"Phyllis has unquestionably left a positive and permanent mark on our business," said Kelly Kuhn, president of CWTSatoTravel. "Her influential and important role as president at SGTP helped build and sustain the collaborative partnership enjoyed today between the government clients and travel industry suppliers."
Reagan is currently responsible for the account management of all of SatoTravel's federal travel management clients. The company is transitioning Reagan's responsibilities to other members of its leadership team, including Bob McCauley and Marc Stec.
