SAN DIEGO -- The Ixata Group announced that it signed a
subscription agreement with Kimpton Group to use Ixata.com's RFP
Express service.
RFP Express is Web-based software that enables hotels to
automate the request-for-proposal process.
RFP Express will be used by Kimpton Group's 29 properties to
manage and administer that process for corporations with preferred
lodging rates and special negotiated-rate programs.
Ixata said RFP Express provides hoteliers and corporate travel
managers with a "point-and-click" approach to create, manage and
process thousands of RFPs, thereby eliminating costly,
labor-intensive duties such as paperwork, sending faxes and making
telephone calls.
Kimpton Group operates 29 hotels and 28 restaurants throughout
San Francisco; Seattle; Tacoma, Wash.; Portland, Ore.; Chicago;
Salt Lake City; Denver, and Vancouver and Whistler, British
Columbia.
