FORT WORTH, TEXAS -- Members of the Travelocity Preferred loyalty
program don't have to bring their bags to the airport anymore.
That's because Sports Express -- a Durango, Colo.-headquartered
luggage-delivery firm -- is now offering its service, for a fee, to
program members.
Sports Express picks up luggage and sports gear at a traveler's
home and delivers it to the traveler's destination.
Travelocity said Sports Express serves all destinations in the
continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin
Islands. International deliveries are available to and from
Ireland, the U.K., Canada and France.
The service is only available to Travelocity Preferred members,
who pay $29 a year to get perks from suppliers who participate in
the program.
Travelocity said Preferred members can visit Travelocity www.travelocity.com/preferred to get a price quote
from Sports Express.
