Canyon Ranch has opened reservations for its newest property, the Canyon Ranch Austin, which will start welcoming guests on Oct. 15.
The resort will stretch across more than 600 acres in Spicewood, Texas, just outside Austin.
Featuring one and a half miles of frontage along Lake Travis, the property will offer 141 guestrooms and The Ranch Home Collection, a residential community of 134 home sites currently under construction. Homeowners will have access to the resort and an on-site concierge wellness program.
The Canyon Ranch Austin's 40,000-square-foot spa will be its centerpiece, featuring 37 treatment rooms as well as two pools, a cold plunge, rain showers and 3D facial imaging and skin analysis technology.
Other wellness amenities will include a 27,000-square-foot fitness facility called The Barn, a 12,000-square-foot medical center and a specialized facility for women's health called the Women's Wellness Collective.
The property will also offer four food and beverage outlets, including a concept from two-star Michelin chef and Texas native Val M. Cantu.
Guests will be able to take advantage of a beach with access to watersports; five miles of trails; tennis, pickleball and padel courts and an equestrian program.
The Austin-area property will join Canyon Ranch's existing resorts in Tucson, Ariz., and Lenox, Mass., as well as day spa and wellness club venues in Las Vegas and Fort Worth, Texas. The opening follows the recent closure of the Canyon Ranch Woodside in California's Bay Area, which opened in 2019 and shuttered late last year, according to a Canyon Ranch spokesperson.
