Dorchester Collection buys Hotel Eden in Rome: Travel Weekly

Dorchester Collection has acquired Rome’s Hotel Eden and will take over management of the 121-room hotel from Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

The property, which was built in 1834 and became a hotel in 1889, will be renovated, though Dorchester didn’t disclose details of the improvements. The hotel is located between the Spanish Steps and Via Veneto.

Dorchester Collection’s nine other properties include the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris.
