Doubletree by Hilton debuted the Doubletree by Hilton, Novosibirsk, its first hotel in Russia.
The 188-room property is part of a newly built, mixed-use hotel and business center development in city center, near Lenin Square and within walking distance of the Novosibirsk Ballet and Opera Theatre. Novosibirsk, located about 1,800 miles from Moscow in Siberia, is Russia's third-largest city.
In addition to being a commercial center, the city is home to Akademgorodok, a scientific community with 15 universities and dozens of institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
