Former Hertz Global Holdings CEO Mark Frissora on Wednesday officially took office as CEO of hotel-casino operator Caesars Entertainment Group.

Frissora, who started working with Caesars in February, succeeds Gary Loveman, who will remain chairman of the company.

Frissora served as Hertz’s CEO from 2006 until last September, when he stepped down amid shareholder pressure.

Caesars announced that Frissora would become its CEO in February. He takes leadership as the company continues restructuring efforts. Caesars Entertainment’s primary operating division filed for Chapter 11 in January.
