SAN DIEGO -- Ixata.com Inc. signed a preferred marketing agreement
with VIP International Corp.
Ixata.com's RFP Express service will be used by VIP
International's hotel property clients to manage and administer
their request for proposal (RFP) process with corporations for
preferred lodging rates and special negotiated rate programs.
RFP Express provides hoteliers and corporate travel managers
with a "point-and-click" approach to creating, managing and
processing RFPs, which aims to eliminate transactions involving
paper, faxes and telephone calls.
VIP, based in Brussels, provides reservations, marketing and
technology services to the hospitality and car rental industry.
VIP said it serves more than 3,400 individual hotel properties
and car rental locations in more than 70 countries.
