Portugal’s first hotel under Hilton Worldwide’s Conrad brand has opened.
The Conrad Algarve, located within the Quinta do Lago resort, has 154 rooms as well as five restaurants and bars.
The property's design was inspired by an 18th century Portuguese palace.
Algarve is about 170 miles south of Lisbon and about 20 minutes from Faro Airport.
Hilton is looking to boost sales globally by expanding the number of its Conrad and Waldorf-Astoria luxury hotels.
Conrad, which has about 20 hotels worldwide, will add the hotels in Seoul and South Africa by the end of the year.
