StarwoodPro, the agent education program by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, launched another ProLearning module, called Starwood Destinations.
The course was developed to educate travel professionals about the islands of Hawaii and the Caribbean and the Starwood properties located in these regions. The Hawaii module focuses on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island, while the Caribbean module focuses on Aruba, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, St. John and the Mexican Caribbean destination of Cancun.
Each module can be explored one island at a time, and travel professionals can return to their last completed section at any time. Certificates and a virtual concierge are provided for each module. These are the first of several destination-selling modules that Starwood will debut this year, said the hotel company.
Agents must be a StarwoodPro Module 1 graduate in order to gain access to the new module. More information is online at www.starwoodpro.com.
