Marriott’s Autograph Collection of independent boutique hotels will get its first U.K. properties this spring.
Threadneedles Hotel in London is located in the city’s financial district and has 74 rooms. The hotel, a former banking hall, includes a lobby dome that was built in 1856.
The Glasshouse in Edinburgh, Scotland, is located at the foot of Calton Hill and is built into the façade of Lady Glenorchy Church. The 65-room hotel opened in 2003.
The Autograph Collection, which added its first hotel in Germany last month, says its number of European hotels within the Autograph Collection will more than double to 40 properties this year.
