The Westin Seattle, the city’s second-largest hotel, completed a $35 million renovation that increased the property’s meeting space by more than 50%.
Upgrades to the 44-year-old cylindrical hotel included improvements to all of its 891 rooms and an addition of 13,500 square feet of meeting space to bring the hotel’s total to 39,000.
The hotel also added the Relish Burger Bistro.
Located on downtown’s Fifth Avenue, the 47-story Westin Seattle, which is owned by Host Hotels & Resorts, trails only the 1,258-room Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers as the city's largest hotel.
Both Sheraton and Westin are Starwood Hotels & Resorts brands.
