Chukka Caribbean Adventures, which
operates 28 land-based nature adventure tours in Montego Bay and
Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Belize; and the Bahamas, expanded its
operations to Grand Turk, the capital island in the Turks and
Caicos.
Development of
the new Grand Turk Cruise Center offered an opportunity for the
Chukka team to fill a need for new leisure tours, said Danny
Melville, Chukkas founder and chairman.
The Horseback
Ride N Swim tour takes riders along Grand Turks northeast ridge and
ends with an Atlantic swim for horse and rider; the 4x4 Safari
explores the historic capital city of Cockburn and the salt flats,
home to pink flamingos and wild horses; and the Dune Buggy Safari
follows a course along the beach and rocky coastline.
