Contiki, the tour operator that caters to young adults, is adding an Iceland itinerary and an extended Balkans offering for 2016.

Contiki will visit Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Romania. In the Balkans, Contiki had previously offered only Hungary and Croatia.

The company’s 15-day "Best of Balkans" travels through Split, Dubrovnik and the Plitvice National Park in Croatia; Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Belgrade, Serbia; the Transylvania region of Romania; Budapest, Hungary; and Ljubljana, Slovenia.It starts at $2,007 per person.

The shorter 12-day "Balkans Discovery" will start in Budapest and travel through Ljubljana, Plitvice, Split, Dubrovnik, Budva, Sarajevo, Belgrade and Transylvania. The four-day "Mini Balkan" option includes Budapest, Ljubljana, Plitvice and Split.

Contiki has also added a four-day Iceland trip during winter with three days in Reykjavik and a visit to the Blue Lagoon. The Iceland itinerary starts at $855 per person.
