ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Tour operator and air consolidator Destination
Europe Resources (DER) here launched an air reservations desk for
Spanish-speaking travel agents.
"Many travel agents find it easier to communicate their needs
... in their primary language," said Barbara Schmidt, CTC, senior
vice president of marketing and business development, in a
statement.
DER might duplicate the service in its railpasses and rail
ticket, car rental, hotel and tour call center departments, she
added.
To reach the Spanish-language air desk, open Monday to Friday
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., call (800) 782-2424, and select option 1 and
then option 3.
