G Adventures announced 17 additional itineraries to its National Geographic Signature collection, including Spain, Bhutan and the Canadian Rockies.
The new routes are part of the operator's highest-quality collection of trips yet, which aims to marry luxury with community-based tourism.
The Signature collection initially debuted with 32 itineraries, and now offers a total of 49 programs, all created in partnership with National Geographic Expeditions.
"Right out of the gate, Signature clearly hit the nail on the head and has proved to be our most successful launch to date," said Steve Lima, vice president of growth for the U.S. and Latin America. "The early success of the launch has seen a large percentage of repeat customers booking these trips, which is a testament to our and National Geographic's brand reputations."
The tours feature a National Geographic expert, including leaders in history, filmmaking and archaeology who provide storytelling and context that bring a destination to life.
On an eight-day trip to Bhutan, guests will trek the Tiger's Nest and connect with local artisans. The schedule also includes visiting Chime Lhakhang, a temple of fertility, and the Gangtey Goemp monastery.
A 10-day Turkiye itinerary travels roundtrip from Istanbul, bringing visitors to a museum of underwater archaeology, the famous Cappadocia and a private tour of Topkapi Palace. Guests will stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul and the Seraphim Cave Hotel in Cappadocia.
The operator will also offer an eight-day trip to Spain focused on the northern part of the country and the Basque Coast. Travelers will visit Caves del Castillo alongside an archaeologist, enjoy a private wine tasting and embark on a food tour in San Sebastian.
