WASHINGTON -- ARC suspended Ecuatoriana de Aviacion for going into
default to ARC and will stop processing travel agents' transactions
on the carrier (codes EU and 341), effective immediately.
ARC said Ecuatoriana-validated transactions included in agents'
sales reports for the period ending Oct. 1 will be returned
unprocessed and should be handled directly with the carrier at 4000
W. Flagler St., Miami 33134.
According to the September OAG Flight Guide, the Ecuadorian
carrier's only U.S. service is a code share to New York with with
the Brazilian airline VASP.
