American Express said it has signed on
three additional travel agencies to its U.S. representative
network.
They are Fugazy
International Travel of Boca Raton, Fla.; Hewins Travel of
Portland, Maine; and Passageways Travel of Traverse City,
Mich.
The oldest of the
group is Fugazy International, a full-service agency established in
1897. Scott Grody is its vice president and COO.
The 24-year-old
Hewins Travel, headed by Steve Hewins, its president and CEO, is a
full-service business, as well, with seven locations in Maine and
50 employees.
Passageways
Travel, a full-service business employing more than 200 staffers
throughout Michigan, was founded in 1980. It also supports a
contingent of Passageways Partners, independent outside agents who
book via Passageways Travel. Thomas McIntyre is its
chairman.
