Dominican carrier leaves ARC: Travel Weekly

WASHINGTON -- Dominair, a carrier based in Santiago, Dominican Republic, is voluntarily leaving ARC after participating for about eight months.

The carrier (codes YU and 725) serves points in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, with connecting service to New York.

It was one of three Caribbean airlines that participated in the now-disbanded settlement system for agents in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and joined ARC when ARC absorbed that system last August.

ARC said it will process travel agents' transactions on Dominair through the sales period ending March 26. Thereafter, agents should refer transactions directly to Dominair, P.O. Box 372-49, Isla Verde, Puerto Rico 00937-0249.
