Westa (Western Association of Travel Agencies) has upgraded its hotel program and introduced a new educational program for members.

The new Preferred Hotel Program formalizes and strengthens existing relationships with hotels around the world, Westa said.

Also, Westa is partnering with travelcampus.com, which offers agencies online travel and tourism training.

Westa has also revised its profit-sharing program for members. Westa’s agency-owned co-op delivers additional financial value to its members in the form of shared ‘back-end overrides’ and organizational profits,” said Westa COO Mike Estill.
