LONGVIEW, Texas -- eZforex users who also use Trams' ClientBase
Plus Live Connect database management/booking tool now have a way
to check if they are conducting business with known terrorists.
eZforex, headquartered here, said it will check the U.S. Office
of Foreign Asset Control Terrorist List, the FBI's most wanted list
and their equivalents in Canada when its clients make a reservation
using Live Connect or sell foreign currency.
"Agencies are not required by law to check reservations against
these terrorist lists, but will be subject to heavy penalties if
they sell travel or currency to known terrorists or anyone wanted
by the FBI," said eZforex CEO Evan Shelan.
The service is "currently" free, the company said.
eZforex retails foreign currencies.
