WESTPORT, Conn. -- Bthere. com, an on-line group reservations and
event registration Web site, predicted it will process at least 2
million transactions this year.
The estimate comes on the heels of signing recent contracts with
various groups representing about 500,000 transactions, including
the Connecticut chapter of Meeting Professionals International;
Preferred Travel, Uniworld Films; the National Petrochemicals and
Refiners Association, and the Africa Travel Association.
The 200-member Connecticut MPI chapter chose Bthere .com to
handle the registration for its monthly meetings and to promote all
of the chapter activities, said Carole Blumberg, president-elect of
the chapter.
