TravCom said it has become the first vendor of travel agency accounting systems to link to eCommission Solutions' Kalypso commission-tracking tool.
Kalypso covers covering commissions for hotel, car and other non-air travel components.
TravCom said access to Kalypso will boost commission collections and give agents more accurate information for purposes of negotiating with suppliers.
Kalypso each night captures all reservations, changes and cancellations made in the GDS. Integration with TravCom will allow the system to capture manually booked hotels, cars and other segments as well as GDS bookings.
According to eCommission Solutions, some of its customers using Kalypso have reported a 40% increase in commission collection.
