WALTHAM, Mass. -- E-Travel, an e-business solution for corporate
travelers and a wholly owned subsidiary of Oracle Corp., announced
that ACCO Brands Inc. signed on as a client.
ACCO is a supplier of office products and high-tech office
equipment in North America.
Corporate travelers at ACCO will now have the ability to
schedule and purchase air, rail, hotel and car needs by using a Web
browser from their PCs.
E-Travel said that the implementation of its application will
significantly decrease the company's travel costs.
Companies can tailor the e-Traveler application to meet their
specific needs as well as the needs of their business travelers and
travel suppliers.
By integrating Internet-based travel processes and direct-link
technology that enables suppliers and buyers to bypass the CRSs,
e-Travel said its application can save companies time and money
spent on making business travel arrangements.
