AURORA, Colo. -- Scofield Management Systems, a developer of travel
agency software, rolled out two products to complement its
Windows-based GlobalWare back-office package.
The first, Travel Tools, adds reporting software for corporate
agencies.
SMS said the package is designed to import data from GlobalWare.
It exports data in Access, Excel and HTML formats.
The module includes numerous standard report forms covering
financial information, supplier information, city pairs, refunded
ticket analysis, etc.
A second addition, Up Front, adds front-office marketing
functions, such as passenger profiles and tracking, plus e-mail and
a word processor for client communications.
It also includes additional back-office features, such as
commission audits and optional modules for preparing bank deposits
and payroll-related forms, such as W-2s.
Scofield developed GlobalWare, initially named TravelWare, and
sold it to Apollo in 1997.
His company remains the exclusive distributor of the product to
non-Apollo agencies.
