esterday, I wrote that agents in the
Chicago area, or within driving distance of the city, are welcome
to come at no cost to the trade show portion of the Travel Weekly
technology conference May 20 to 22 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
The trade show hours are 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on May 21 and
3:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on May 22. E-mails have been sent to
hundreds of agents in the Chicago area inviting them to attend. If
you haven't received one, you can e-mail me and
I'll make sure you get one.
One reader wrote to ask for the list of exhibitors and here it

As you can see, there's quite an array of GDS vendors, Web site
suppliers and third-party software providers. A walk around the
show for an hour or two will give you a good idea of the array of
travel technology available these days.
The trade show is one part of a larger conference program that
includes general sessions and a series of workshops. That program
gets under way May 20 and runs through May 22.
A one-day registration is available for $150 and the
full-conference registration is $275.
You can click here to find more details on the show and
register online.
