SUMMER
SCHOOL: The Home Based Success Series, sponsored by the
National Association of Commissioned Travel Agents and three
industry suppliers, will bring its educational seminars for
at-homes to cities across the country this summer. Participants in
the four-hour events learn step-by-step tips for building a
successful group business. The cost is $15. Participating suppliers
are Globus, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. Dates and
locations are: July 17 (Milwaukee), July 18 (Nashville), July 19
(Philadelphia), July 20 (Baltimore), and July 21 (Boston). All
home-based agency owners, staff travel agents, and outside agents,
regardless of their affiliation with any Association, are invited
to attend.
SPEAKERS for the series include Joanie Ogg,
NACTA president; Alleigh Grieder, NACTA director of sales and
marketing; Cris DeSouza, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises
channel strategy manager/home-based; and Kathleen Kavanagh, Globus
