Cayman Airways unveiled its nonstop route from Los Angeles to the Cayman Islands on Nov. 5.
Flights will operate from LAX to Grand Cayman year-round, once a week on Sundays for departing flights and Saturdays for returning flights.
The airline will use 16-seat Boeing 737-Max airplanes on the route. Airfare will be priced at an introductory rate of $399.
It said it is the first nonstop, West Coast-to-Caribbean route since American Airlines halted weekly Los Angeles to Montego Bay, Jamaica, in August 2018.
