The Cayman Islands has eliminated pre-arrival Covid tests for vaccinated travelers, effective June 30.

Children 11 and under will take the vaccination status of their parents.

"On the heels of the U.S. lifting their testing requirements for re-entry and the CDC relaxing guidelines, we are delighted to make the journey to Cayman a bit smoother for our global guests, and we look forward to showcasing our tourism community to all who visit," said Kenneth Bryan, minister for tourism and transport.

In addition, the destination has lifted mask mandates for indoor public spaces. Fully vaccinated travelers are still required to complete a travel declaration at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

Unvaccinated travelers 12 and over are not permitted to enter except those who have close ties to Caymanian residents. No entry tests are required but they must quarantine for seven days after arrival.
