The Como Parrot Cay, the private-island resort in the Turks and Caicos, reopened on Oct. 1 with new beach houses for guests and daily Covid testing for staff.

The resort has 72 rooms and villas and offers two-bedroom oceanfront beach houses with large living spaces, decks, private pools and butler service.

Larger beach houses are available for families and multigenerational groups.

Facilities at Parrot Cay include the beach club with a new adults-only pool, the Shambhala Retreat with wellness treatments, the Play by Como kids' club and three restaurants as well as in-room dining and private dining on the beach.

The resort offers yoga lessons, castaway picnics and paddleboarding and kayaking.

Special packages include an Island Thanksgiving offer which features a free night with every four-night stay and one complimentary roundtrip transfer for every two booked.

For guests in the beach houses or villas, a beach bonfire with s'mores under the stars is included.

Paradise for Two includes accommodations, daily breakfast, Champagne on arrival and the choice of a picnic lunch or a private dinner in the Lotus tiki hut.

A six-night yoga retreat covers all meals, a 60-minute signature massage and return airport transfers.

Rates vary depending on the season, availability and room type, but a typical starting rate is $795 per night, double plus taxes and fees.
