Journese, the luxury brand of Pleasant Holidays, launched its Cancel for Any Reason trip protection plan coverage.
The coverage offers travelers two plan options: cash back or travel credit vouchers. Both plans offer full commission protection and a simplified cancellation process.
Travelers have up to seven days after initial deposit to choose their preferred plan. The cash back option provides refunds in the form of the original payment; the voucher option provides a travel credit that can be applied to the client's next Journese vacation.
The coverage cost must be requested by a travel advisor handling the booking. Depending upon the cost of the package, the price of the cash back option ranges from $119 for trips costing up to $1,199 to $299 for trips above $5,000. Travel-voucher prices range from $79 to $259, again depending on the cost of the vacation booked.
The protection plans are not valid for cruise bookings, although Journese does offer a protection plan when the cruise booking is canceled for a covered reason.
