Ritz-Carlton in St. Thomas targets December reopening

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, which has been closed for extensive repairs and renovations since the September 2017 hurricanes, will reopen in December.

The $100 million project includes redesigned public spaces, refurbishment of its 180-rooms and suites, a remodeled infinity pool, the new Alloro Sicilian restaurant as part of the resort's culinary offerings.

A new 60-foot Lady Lynsey II catamaran can accommodating 75 guests on snorkeling tours and sunset cruises.

Winter season rates at the resort start at $809 per room, per night, double. Reservations beginning Dec. 1 are open for booking.
