Couples this year have had to make tough decisions regarding dates, locations and the size of their weddings.
Sandals and Beaches resorts are doing their part to accommodate.
They're offering a solution to couples that enables families and friends to attend the nuptials or vow-renewal ceremony virtually through a complimentary livestreamed wedding ceremony service.
This is available to couples who have plans to wed in 2020 or 2021 and book by Dec. 31.
If the couple adds a video package to their wedding ceremony, they can request the footage from the complimentary livestreamed ceremony to be included with their own edited video.
Starting at $795, the couple can choose between a traditional video style or contemporary style to highlight their ceremony and special day. Prior to the ceremony, they meet virtually with a wedding planner who walks them through the resorts, suites, gardens, overwater chapels, oceanfront gazebos, beaches and pools and helps them select a ceremony site.
In the wedding showroom, the couple can view decor options available as well as hair and makeup services for the big day.
Sandals offers several options for smaller weddings that include signature cocktails, breakfast in bed with mimosas, a 5-by-7 photo and more.
The Perfect Ten Minimony includes eight guests to attend the wedding ceremony, an hour reception and a 15% discount on a Red Lane Spa treatment.
Ceremonies that include up to 50 guests offer savings on accommodations, a welcome cocktail party to kick off the festivities, a lobster dinner reception, a rum and game night or a $1,000 credit toward an Island Routes catamaran cruise.
The Anniversary program offers a free stay for couples booked seven nights or more in a club or butler suite or a complimentary ReTie the Knot ceremony for a group of five or more rooms booked.
The three Beaches resorts offer customized wedding packages, as well. Beaches Negril is open, Beaches Ocho Rios reopens on Dec. 18 and Beaches Turks and Caicos on Nov. 18.
Most wedding planning begins six to 12 months from the date of the ceremony. "Our phones are ringing now for next year," said Marsha-Ann Brown, director of romance for Sandals Resorts International.
Brown pointed out that tables are distanced and guests and team members are required to wear masks, although the bride and groom do not have to.
