Carnival Cruise Line will debut four new beers on the Carnival
Horizon when the ship launches on April 2.
The beers, which will be brewed on the ship for Guy's Pig
& Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse/Brewhouse, are intended to complement the
smoky and tangy items on the menu.
Carnival is introducing the full-bodied and dark ParchedPig
Smoked Porter, the blond ParchedPig Farmhouse Ale, the ParchedPig Toasted Amber
Ale and the hoppy India pale ale ParchedPig West Coast IPA.
The Horizon will be the second Carnival ship to brew its own
beer, following the Carnival Vista. Pints cost $5.75 at the Carnival Vista's
Red Frog Pub & Brewery.
