MIAMI -- Carnival Corp. named A. Kirk Lanterman chairman and
chief executive officer of Holland America Line-Westours.
He has worked for the company for 14 years, most recently as
president and chief executive officer.
Peter McHugh was named president and chief operating officer,
succeeding Lanterman.
McHugh served for the past year as executive vice president of
Holland America Line-Westours.
Micky Arison, chairman and chief executive officer of Carnival
Corp., said the moves were directed at ensuring senior management
continuity in the face of the eventual retirement of Lanterman.
