The Travel Institute has made improvements to its offerings for graduates, enhancing their public-facing profiles and making it easier for consumers to find certified advisors.
The Institute said it has modernized advisors' digital credential profiles with new branding. The sites are now seamlessly adaptable to mobile devices, and advisors have access to enhanced profile editing tools and navigation.
Additionally, advisors are now more findable thanks to new search criteria for those who have opted in to have public-facing profiles, including location, expertise, language and contact information. Advisors have access to new marketing tools, like social media templates and branded graphics, to better share credentials on other sites like LinkedIn and Facebook.
Advisors maintain their certification status by earning a minimum of 10 continuing education units each year, available through the Travel Institute and a number of other travel program partners.
"This is about more than adding a badge to a profile," the Travel Institute president Taylor Ruecking said in a release. "It's about helping advisors turn their education into a stronger professional presence, greater consumer trust and new opportunities to grow their business. That's a win for our alumni, consumers and the industry."
