Carnival Cruise Line has launched an updated travel agent booking engine "GoCCL Navigator."

The result of a year of research and design, the release of Phase 1 represents the first major overhaul of Carnival's booking engine in a decade.

Changes were based on input from travel advisors, and Carnival the platform was beta-tested in May by more than 500 of its highest-volume bookers.

In addition to a sleeker design, the site has been optimized for mobile devices and streamlined to reduce the number of steps required to perform tasks.

Work is underway on Phase 2, which will include booking management, payment, group bookings and other features aimed at making reservation servicing easier for travel advisors.

Training on how to use the GoCCL Navigator is available via the Learn and Earn Training Program tab at GoCCL.com.
